Park Power at the Edmonton Pride in the Park Festival

parkpower · 31 May 2016 · Leave a Comment Community Building, Consumer Info

Park Power is very excited to be an exhibitor at the Edmonton Pride in the Park Festival Saturday June 4, 2016 at Strathcona Park in Old Strathcona (104 St & 86 Ave).  The festival begins right after the Pride Parade and is a free event for all ages that runs from 11am- 6pm.  The parade will start at 108 St NW and Whyte Avenue, heads east on Whyte Avenue and then turns north on 104 St towards End of Steel Park. The Edmonton Pride Festival is always a great time and definitely aligns with the positive, community building mentality that Park Power believes in.

We will be at the Pride in the Park Festival in the exhibitor area promoting why Park Power is A Better Choice for electricity & natural gas for all those who believe in PRIDE. Not only do we offer lower rates and superior Alberta based customer service but through our Community Partner Program we share 10% of our profits with awesome local charities, like The altView Foundation.

The altView Foundation is a group dedicated to building diverse pro-queer and pro-trans communities in Alberta through advocacy, education, empowerment, collaboration, and the arts.  They do a lot of work supporting Gay Straight Alliances in schools around the province, especially in the under-served  and rural communities.

If you plan to be attending #YEGPRIDE be sure to come by to say Hi and find out more about Park Power.

Park Power is an energy marketer for UtilityNET (Utility Network & Partners Inc.). Park Power operates under UtilityNET’s Electricity and Natural Gas Marketing Business License issued by Service Alberta, a Ministry of the Government of Alberta. You are free to purchase electricity and natural gas from the provider of your choice. The delivery of natural gas and electricity to you is not affected by your choice. If you change who you purchase natural gas or electricity from, you still receive natural gas and electricity via the distribution company in your service area. For a list of energy providers you may choose from, visit ucahelps.gov.ab.ca or call 310-4822 (toll-free in Alberta). Some offers, in whole or in part, may not be available in natural gas co-ops, municipally owned utilities, and some rural electrification associations. Copyright © 2025 Park Power Ltd.
